Ive been using Cloak for a little over a year now and it works great! I use it on all of my mobile devices as well as my desktop computer. I do a lot of traveling around the world and this VPN app works great everywhere I have been. Hotels, airports, restaurants, coffee shops, you name it. Allows me to email expense reports and perform online transactions without worry. Also I can watch U. S. streaming content in whatever country I may be in. Download it, buy a pass and turn it on. Doesnt any easier than that.

Its automatic, easy to configure, simple to add trusted networks on iOS devices and Macs, and an account can be shared among all of your Apple gizmos. No more inadvertent connections to unsecured public WiFi networks. I used Witopia for years. Cloak serves my needs much better.

Based on review from The Sweet Setup, I am using CLOAK. I have downloaded to 2 iPhones, iPad Pro and MacBook Pro without issue. Seems to be the easiest VPN to work with! Will keep updating if I find out differently but since the place I work has decided to "hide" their wifi, I decided I needed more protection at PUBLIC wifi spots. Just dont like making it easy for people to steal what isnt theres in the first place!!!

I have wasted so much money on different VPNs cloak works perfectly for me the best Ive seen so far little pricey but well worth it for the type of security it has.

I used Cloak a few times during the trial period. With no access to Wi-Fi at home, for updating apps I need to use one of several slow public places in town. The one with >10 mps download wont let me access at all. 2 others with<3 mps download cant connect to any server. One other spot works with Cloak but since it too is not consistently connecting to a Cloak server, I dont know when I am protected and when not, because the app doesnt notify when it drops a connection. So while the app may be ok if your public wi-fi has a strong signal, it didnt work reliably for me. Back to using my expensive cellular data for updating apps

Ive used Cloak VPN for over two years so far. My wife has used it while in Asia, and weve used it throughout our travels in Europe, and extensively here in the U.S. If theres a better alternative to Cloak, Id be very surprised. Cloak gives me VPN protection always when I need it, and nearly always invokes on untrusted networks automatically. My only user intervention is that occasionally the VPN badge dosent automatically appear on the status bar on my iPhone. In those cases, when I go to the Cloak app, I see its already secured the untrusted WIFI network. Cloak gives me the level of confidence and ease of use to keep me a loyal customer.

It not a bad app at all but I think theyre a bit pricey. $4 for 7 days, $10 for 30 days, and $100 for a year. Fills a bit steep tbh a year of Xbox live is only $60... if they dropped the price Id give better rating. Otherwise the app works as intended.

Everyone should use an app like Cloak for public WiFi. Prices are great, too!

No issues as far as I know, then if I was hacked, how would I know if this was the weak link? Never tried speed with and without to compare, but it seems ok. Works ok my iPhone and iPad but my Mac doesnt seem to have the app in the App Store. 2 things that bother me: • what do they do with all my data flowing through their servers? Whisper sweet nothings in my ear and make me feel safe. Trump talk me. • nowhere does it show when your subscription runs out, you just can no longer connect to the net. No explanation that the subscription has ended. No notice on the app. Usually it seems like the local free wifi is not working. Then I check the app out in a drop down. Cmon guys, fix this. All that said, I just signed up for a year, was on month by month for an extended test drive.

Theres a trade-off between security and convenience. Cloak strikes a good balance. Performance is fast. Minimalist user interface. Protects where needed. Automatic.

It is great to know that Cloak is there when it is needed. It connects automatically to any wifi network that is not defined as trusted. Genius! Very much recommended!

The app is nearly useless for me. I dont know what the issue is, perhaps iOS 10.2, but the app crashes every single time I open it within a few minutes. The connection also isnt entirely stable. Perhaps Im not using it for its intended purpose (getting around the Great Firewall in China) but then if thats the case, that should be made clearer.
